It's time we brought our crafty gathering to one of the Great Ocean Road's coolest spaces... Frolic Lane!
We'll be taking over their covered cocktail garden for Sunny Sunday Beads & Bevs... whip up your own sunglasses chains, socialise with a bunch of crafty folk, and enjoy a chilled beverage or two!
While the summer sun is still here, you’ll learn to make your own handy and on-trend beaded sunglasses chain to adorn your neck and make sure you don't lose your fave shades. 😎
Design your own, from an orderly sequence to curated colours organically spread - the choice is yours.
There will be a selection of seed beads and other larger beads to choose from, but if you want to bring your own colours, pearls, repurposed bead jewellery or charms then feel free!
The process is super easy and rather meditative when you get into it... you can easily chat and drink without having to concentrate too hard - totally beginner-friendly!
Your ticket includes:
- All tools, materials and tuition for 2 hours of beadcraft, whipping up your own snazzy sunglasses chain whilst you soak up the chilled tunes and great vibes.
- A welcome drink of your choosing - an arvo glass of bubbles, a local wine, a refreshing beer or cider, or sip something non-alcoholic. All the usual suspects will be available, and they have an incredibly well-stocked bar for additional bevs. Their kitchen will also be open if you’re peckish for chippies, sliders, tacos, pizzas and the like!

Whether you use it as a chance to catch up with a mate, make new friends, or just fancy some relaxed creativity this year, it's going to be a nice cup-filling couple of hours with lovely humans.
Frolic Lane is a DIVINE venue with speakeasy vibe - this is the first time collaborating with this gorgeous space, and the first public Crafternoon in Warrnambool, on beautiful Gunditjmara / Eastern Maar Country.
We’re excited to be going coastal for a change!
Under 18's welcome - very small hands with an adult please - and the venue is accessible and we welcome all crafty abilities (whether you're creative or not).
This event is LGBTQIA+ friendly, there's loads of street parking on nearby streets and there's plenty of space for strollers and privacy for breast-feeding mums.
