My Crafternoons x World Wide Craft Club

Sun 28 June 2026, 3–5pm

Tilly Divine, 174 Liebig St, Warrnambool – Gunditjmara/Eastern Maar Country

A handmade Christmas card collage by My Crafternoons with the text 'Christmas Crafternoon @ Tilly Divine'

For one afternoon only, My Crafternoons and friends are turning Warrnambool's Tilly Divine into a cosy Craft Café for a free Makers Meet-Up as part of the World's Largest Craft Club! My Crafternoons is part of an international network of craft club hosts who have been plotting little local gatherings that also part of something bigger, with around 35 other hosts running creative events around the globe that same weekend. See @worldwidecraftclub to see who's joining in the fun!

For Victoria's event on Sunday 28th June, there’s no formal workshop or set project this time – think of it as a friendly, welcoming chance to mingle and meet like-minded people IRL.

We're inviting artists and makers who have shared skills at My Crafternoons, alongside previous attendees and local creative types who just love to make stuff.

  • Whether you're an artist, florist, stylist, ceramicist or hobbyist...

  • Whether you paint, knit, draw, sew, crochet, knit, weave, dye, bead or doodle...

  • Whether you’d like to make new friends or bring existing mates (or dates)...

    You are WELCOME!

Good to know:

😊 Come solo or with a crew; catch up with creative friends or meet new crafty pals

⏰ Stay the whole time or just drop in for a little while between 3 and 5pm

🧶 Bring your embroidery, sketchbook, paint kit, journal, beading, macramé, crochet or whatever you love to do that's portable, or just come as you are

🖍️ We'll provide creative basics like paper, pens, pencils, crayons and scissors if you'd like to sketch and sip or cut out collage elements, but you're equally welcome to just hang out

✂️ Enjoy a low-pressure space to make, sip and yap - you can share your makes, swap ideas, and be inspired by what others are creating

Tilly’s crew will be slinging coffees, chai, turmeric and matcha lattes, cocktails and more at cafe/bar prices, and sell yummy cakes and treats, too!

🆓 This is a free community event but please RSVP here so we have an idea of numbers, access needs and can remind you the day prior

👭 No need to buy tickets or make purchases, but if you like, you can pay what you feel to our new Crafty Kind Fund. This pay-it-forward initiative helps cover the cost of future Crafternoons for community members who need a little support - learn more here.

As with most of our usual Crafternoons, this event is:

🎨 Beginner-friendly and welcoming of all crafty abilities

👩‍👧  Suitable for all ages, though young folk need to be with their responsible adults

👩🏼‍🦽 Wheelchair accessible with an all abilities bathroom. Contact the venue directly for more details on accessibility.

🤱 Parent-friendly with ample space for prams and privacy for breast-feeding mums

🚗 Near free street parking and carparks

🌈 A respectful and inclusive event where everyone is genuinely welcome.

Why should I come?

This event is an opportunity to:

👋 Meet new people, catch up with friends, fam or work mates

Enjoy a low-key hangout that’s not just “going for drinks”

🧘‍♀️ Carve out time for inspiring self-care and creative me-time

✨ Add a little joy and colour to your weekend

🧠 Reconnect with your creativity or pick up a lapsed hobby

🏡 Make something cute for yourself or to gift
