Floral Art Workshop

***Mothers Day / CWA Edition***

Fancy a Wednesday night spent drinking tea, painting and drawing flowers, eating cheese and socialising with a lovely bunch of women?

Come along to our next Crafternoon on Weds 11 May in Dunkeld!

We'll spend 2 blissful hours capturing simple florals in paint, pen, pencil or pastels in a casual creative workshop.

There will be freshly-snipped blooms on the tables for inspiration (bring along your garden faves if you like), unlimited tea/coffee and a few light nibbles to share. You'll take home a finished artwork ready to frame, or at least a pretty page of floral shapes if you're just coming for the mindful creativity!

This evening Crafternoon is in collaboration with the youthful and vibrant Dunkeld branch of the Country Women's Association.

It's $35 for CWA members and $50 if you're yet to be welcomed into the warm bosom of this fabulous little community group. This branch is quite special - the average age of ladies who come along is in the 30s, and what they lack in years of experience they make up for in a willingness to drink wine, learn new skills and socialise!

ALSO, since it's Mothers Day on Sunday 8th May, you can book a "Mum & Me" ticket at $70 for the two of you to spend the evening getting creative together.

You don't need to be creative, in the CWA or a Mum to attend, everyone is welcome!

Young crafters are welcome if accompanied and the venue (Sterling Place Community Centre, Dunkeld, Gunditjmara Country) is accessible, too.

Tickets are available online - see www.mycrafternoons.com and book via https://www.trybooking.com/BZBRT

~ Last-minute additions can inbox us to check there's space and just pay on the night if we can fit you in!

Here's some floral inspiration from you from my time in my little home studio, but you can also use fine liners, felt tip pens, coloured pencils and oil pastels if you wish, and be as colourful or as monochrome as you wish!

Follow @mycrafternoons on socials to see other snippets of inspo for our next workshop!
