Christmas Movie Crafternoon!

Something a little bit different is happening this December!

Not only will we get together for a couple of hours of festive crafting, making bespoke re-usable Advent Calendars, but we will be getting into the festive spirit with a movie night while we craft, AND enjoying a selection of delicious food and drinks by Hamilton's newest cafe/restaurant, the Speckled Frog!

Just imagine... sip a wine, much on an arancini ball, whip up a divine handmade keepsake and get all the fuzzy festive movie feels. We can not wait!

This is a fun, relaxed evening happening on Day 1 of the traditional advent calendar period, Thursday 1st December from 6.30pm, aiming to wrap up around 8.30/9pm. Once made, you'll be able to stuff the little pockets with chocolate coins, love notes or whatever else will bring your household joy every year to come!

The movie will be selected by Instagram poll the week before the Crafternoon, so follow @mycrafternoons to vote for your favourite! Will it be... Home Alone? The Holiday? Love Actually?! Pitch your ideas, too (but not Die Hard please, as much as my partner tells me it's the ultimate Christmas movie... I disagree).

The workshop is $65 pp including all tools, materials and guidance required to make your own unique fabric advent calendar, plus light nibbles to share during our evening of lovely entertainment.

The bar will be open for all of your alcoholic and non-alcoholic needs, too!

All abilities and ages welcome, even if you can't sew (we have hacks for that). We'll machine sew, hand-sew, iron-on-bond and stick with glue so even the "non-crafty" can be involved! We will fill the room with fabric, felt, ribbons, embroidery floss, pom poms, sequins, glitter, paints, paint pens, stamps... basically we'll turn the private room at the Speckled Frog into a crafty emporium for the night!

If this sounds like fun to you, come on board! > Spaces are a little limited so head to https://www.trybooking.com/CDZAK to book!
