Christmas Crafternoon!
Join us in Dunkeld's newest cafe for an afternoon of festive crafting, sweet treats and socialising!
Lovely sisters, Kelly and Emma have set up Freyr Wholefoods to serve simple, local eats and good Melbourne coffee in Dunkeld.
🌟 We're excited to be the first to take over their beautiful new space after hours for this relaxed crafty arvo.
To get into the Christmas spirit we'll surround ourselves with art supplies and crafty materials in an all-you-can-craft BUFFET!
You can make contemporary Christmas cards complete with cute customised envelopes, gift tags, tree toppers, paper bunting and garlands, bookmarks... if you can dream it and we have all the bits you need, you can make it! 🎅
You can practice various paper-craft techniques like stamping, collage and paper cutting, simple painting and drawing techniques, working with mixed media and even sewing on paper.
There’ll be plenty of inspo and guidance to make sure you leave with bespoke stationery you’re proud of - see the contemporary vibe we're going for below!
This one is super easy so even the non-creative can come along and leave with new skills, crafty confidence and cards made just in time for your loved ones to swoon over.
Your ticket includes:
- All tools, materials and tuition for 2 hours of Xmas crafting, making cards, tags and other paper crafts!
- A hot or cold beverage of your choice. From barista-made St.Ali coffee and hot chocolate to organic, naturopathic teas by Love Tea, chai lattes and chilled bevs like kombucha. They have Schulz Organic Dairy milk and ADC alternatives, too!
- A selection of sweet treats like bites of freshly baked Jane Dough pastries, vegan slices and summer berries.
- Festive fun, a bangin’ Xmas soundtrack and the odd gift-wrapped prize - ho ho ho! 🎁
Freyr is an accessible venue in the centre of Dunkeld with stunning views of Gariwerd (Grampians National Park) and plenty of free street parking. Whole-heartedly welcoming all ages and abilities, this event is LGBTQIA+ friendly and there's plenty of space for strollers and privacy for breast-feeding mums 🙂
