Spring Flower Crowns!

Flower Crowns are BACK!

Oh yes, we had such fun creating beautiful fresh flower crowns last year that we're again going to take over the glorious Off The Rails Gallery in Dunkeld, on Thursday 16th November, for an evening of floral craft and socialising. YAY!

We're squeezing this workshop in just in time for the largest racing event in Greater Hamilton - the 2017 Dunkeld Races on Saturday 18th November. Everyone will receive care instructions on how to keep your flower crowns looking their freshest ready to finish off your outfit next Saturday!

The flower crowns are also glorious for weddings, hens parties, festivals and summer garden parties- and most flowers dry well so you can keep your creation afterwards to display in your home!

We will have an abundance of flowers, foliage, herbs and crafty bits and bobs like ribbons and lace to finish off your crowns with if you choose to make a crown that ties at the back. We will also learn how to make the continuous "halo" style of flower crown, and asymmetrical crowns with statement flowers on one side. We'll cover how to prepare your flowers and foliage, how to "wire" flowers and use florist's tape to attach them to your headband. The hardest part is choosing which blooms to use- we promise the rest is very easy!

The workshop costs $40 and includes all the tools and materials you need, plus tuition, hot drinks and a selection of nibbles. You can also BYO wine if you wish, just remember to bring a glass and organise a designated driver!
