Intro to Crochet Workshop!
We're finally tackling a craft we've long been wanting to master; Crochet!
This workshop is for beginners so don't worry if you've never held a crochet hook or knitting needle in your life, it's an easy craft to learn and once you know the basics you'll be hooked!
We'll learn how to wield crochet hooks like a pro, covering the basic stitches and their abbreviations so you're able to read crochet patterns in future too. Since it's getting chilly, we'll use our new found skills to whip up a cute little mug cosy like this cutie made by our tutor, Cindy:
Get the date in your diaries: Tuesday 30th May from 6pm at The Grange Restaurant, Hamilton VIC.
Everyone will take home a brand new mug adorned with your personalised crochet cosy, ready to fill with tea, coffee, hot chocolate or mulled wine- whatever keeps you warm on these wintery Victorian nights. The workshop includes a selection of finger food to keep us crafting and drinks will be available at the bar. You'll even get to take home your crochet hooks, so you can whip up anything from coasters and placemats to stubby holders, granny squares, scarves and even cacti!
$35 per person, places are limited as we want an intimate little group to ensure everyone gets some one-on-one time with our tutor, email mycrafternoons@gmail.com to book your spot and you'll be emailed confirmation and details of how to pay!
