Boho Bag Charm Pizza Party!

Having recently spent a glorious 10 days on the Spanish island of Ibiza, I am not officially OBSESSED with tassels, pom poms and all things embellishment (like I needed much encouragement!)

The latest trend sweeping Europe, especially the Greek and Spanish islands, involves a whole heap of beautiful, colourful pom poms, fringing, tassels, beading and embellishment on everything from beach bags and kaftans to clutches and sandals. I have been rocking these bad boys all over Europe, and can honestly say they make me feel like there's a little party happening on my feet!

Check out some of the boho beauties I snapped on my travels and treasures made by Easy sellers:

In rows L-R:

2) Pom Pom hat found in Florence, Italy

3) LaLuceCo Ibiza tasselled bag

4) Tassel cushions from Sluiz concept store in Ibiza- beautiful but expensive!

6) Tasselled clutch bag found in Ibiza

8) Ibizan Beach baskets seen in practically every shop!

Inspired by this riot of colour and festivity, the next Crafternoon we'll be making our very own boho beauties- clusters of hanging pom poms, tassels and beads which can be made into either bag charms, keyrings or adornments for your walls or doorhandles (or should that be a-door-nments... LOL). I've bought some bright wooden beads back to Australia from Venice and Florence and will make sure every colour of yarn is available for you to unleash your creativity with!

Partly because I love their wood-fired pizzas and partly because I love alliteration, this Pom Pom Pizza Party will be held at the gorgeous Roxburgh House in Hamilton. We will take over one of their upstairs boudoirs to fill with music, chatter, crafting and probably wine or cider, depending on my mood ;)

The Roxburgh is a favourite venue of ours- there we've made Pom Pom Bouquets, Piñatas, Owl Hand-Warmers and Himmeli Pendants, and I'm sure we'll return for more pizza and creativity in the future!

The session costs $30 and that includes all materials, tools, tuition and a selection of delicious pizzas to share. The bar will also be open for alcoholic drinks, coffees, teas and soft drinks, hooray!

Places are limited so if you'd like to come along just email me or send me a Facebook message via the page and I'll confirm your spot and how to pay!
