Pom Pom Crafternoon

Promotional banner showing colourful pom poms in the shape of a flower

It’s time to get our craft on, this time in Hamilton’s newest café making our favourite… cute, fluffy pom poms!

You’ll be guided through the process of making a big pom pom flower that’s perfect to be hung on a wall (so cute for a kids’ room) in a studio /creative space or to brighten up a bookshelf, or you can make a tiny one you can use to make a keyring or attach to a headband… whatever you fancy!

If flowers aren’t your thing, you can just curate a collection of lovely handmade pompoms to thread onto a garland, make into a wreath, attach to cushions or turn into a pom pom ‘bouquet’.

This workshop is a nod back to our first ever crafternoon, making pom pom bouquets and garlands almost 10 years ago… time flies when you’re having fun!

We’ll be celebrating our anniversary this August, but there’s time for the odd workshop before then… watch this space! 😊

This crafternoon includes all tools, materials and tuition to make your own pom pom creation, but if you have a pom-maker at home that you like to use (or need some help figuring out), bring it along!

Your ticket also includes a drink of your choice – chai latte, coffee, hot chocolate, tea, juice or a soft drink – and freshly baked goodie or two by Thompson Tavern’s talented chefs!

You totally deserve a couple of hours to yourself to get creative, enjoy a barista-made brew and sweet treat whilst meeting new friends and enjoying the relaxed vibes.

If this is up your alley – book in here: https://www.trybooking.com/CQVAU

It's $60 each or book with a friend and pay $55 each, because crafting with friends is a great way to catch up!

Under 18's welcome - small hands with an adult please - the venue is accessible and we welcome all crafty abilities (whether you're creative or not).

This event is LGBTQIA+ friendly, there's plenty of space for strollers and privacy for breast-feeding mums, and ample free parking on nearby streets and carparks.
